Born in Spain, OBIOL started her artistic career as a student of Olga Roa’s workshop where she studied with dedication the Oil on Canvas technique. She then acquired more extensive expertise from Graciela Gómez and famous Spanish artist Dolores Nuñez, who as teachers guided her learning process.

Her paintings have been exhibited in several Galleries since 1994 not only throughout Colombia but in the USA as well. Her art manifests her extensive ability to handle an impressive technique, and allows recognizing the variety of the composition and the symmetry of the intention.

It is noticeable in OBIOL’s work, how the purity of the atmospheres marks the surroundings of the focal point as if it wanted to freely breathe through its content. Her production figures beyond space and time as a testimony of noble times and the reflection of messages and sensations transmitted from the soul.
